For my Business of Live Entertainment course, I worked with professor Ed Traversari to learn all about what goes into booking an artist. From finding a proper venue to negotiating the terms of merchandise, this was an opportunity to act as a promoter, and after learning all the terms and things to do over the course of the semester, we wrapped up presenting a fully-realized concert plan.

My show? Grimes at Stage AE. Weird, just popular enough, and perfect for Pittsburgh, I was surprised she hasn’t yet done a show here and thought that it would create the perfect amount of demand for Stage AE’s intimate setting to be a financial and cultural success.
